Welcome at Navigation Algorithms and Platforms Karlsruhe (NAVKA)
NAVKA is settled at the Institute of Applied Research (IAF) of the Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences (HSKA) as RaD project on the following subjects
- Algorithms and optimum design for hybrid multi-sensor platforms for seamless out-/indoor navigation
- Machine navigation by GNSS and autonomous sensors (MEMS)
- Air-/water/ground-/borne robotics systems and drones
- Indoor navigation
- Algorithms and design for hybrid geo-referencing of objects
- Orientation giving platforms
- Real-time data-acquisition platforms
- Algorithms for GNSS-based positioning and navigation applications
- Precise DGNSS algorithms
- Online precise point positioning (OPPP)
The three years joint RaD project "GNSS-gestützte LowCost-Multisensorsysteme zur mobilen Plattformnavigation und Objektgeoreferenzierung ("GNSS-supported lowcost multisensor systems for mobile platform navigation and object geo-referencing")" is funded by the Ministry of Economics and the navigation and mobile IT industry of Baden-Württemberg. The target is to promote respective developments of the Baden-Württemberg cluster SatNav&MIT of universities and industry.
