NAVKA-Project of IAF/HSKA is regional Winner of Baden-Württemberg at the European Satellite Navigation Competition (ESNC) 2014

Reutlingen / Heidelberg, 30.10.2014

The Joint Research Project NAVKA is the regional winner of Baden-Württemberg for its submission  „NAVKA - A New Generation of Low-Cost Multisensor Navigation Technologies based on GNSS /MEMS/MOEMS“ at the European Satellite Navigation Competition (ESNC) 2014. This price includes 500 Euro in cash and two years of rent-free office space at Technologiepark Tübingen-Reutlingen. The awarding ceremony on 29.10.2014 was held in Heidelberg.

Awarding ceremony for the overall winners at the Satellite Masters Conference in Berlin

Reutlingen / Heidelberg, 30.10.2014

As regional winner of Baden-Württemberg, NAVKA was also participating at the Satellite Master Conference in Berlin (www.satellite-master-conference.eu). We are also very excited, that our submission „NAVKA - A New Generation of Low-Cost Multisensor Navigation Technologies based on GNSS /MEMS/MOEMS“ additionally reached the 3th Ranking in the International Overall Ranking, with a total of 434 participants from more than 40 countries. This year’s overall winner of the “European Satellite Navigation Competition” (ESCN) were Dr. Wolfgang Kogler und Dr. Jan Wendel with their submission of Bavaria for the design of a cutting-edge LowCost Receiver for the GALILEO Public Regulated Service (PRS).
